Genetic and Genomics Research
The Singh group deploys genomic selection, marker-assisted breeding, and multi-omics tools to accelerate genetic gain in research and/or variety development. Recent genomic analyses have improved the rate of genetic gain for complex traits and facilitated the deployment of novel genes for resistance and seed quality enhancement. Genome-wide association studies and Genomic prediction-focused research have been published for multiple traits.
